agreed. I’m sad for whomever takes the risk and does buy it. with attention it has, it is likely the NEXT owner will be the one to suffering a repossession and crushing.

What’s the reason to be happy about it? I feel neutral about it but I don’t think this cars existence on American soil puts our national security at risk as the Govt would have you believe.

So do you feel joy when you hear about cars getting seized and crushed? There’s stuff that’s against the law in my State that’s perfectly legal in other States. In NYC our open container laws can have you in a jail cell for having an unsealed bottle of wine in the trunk of your car as your heading to friends house even if you aren’t drinking from it, doesn’t make me happy even if it’s against the law.

I will presume he’s happy the sale was taken down from BaT. I think most of us have perused that site, and enjoy it. I think most here would be a little hesitant on that ad, but others who aren’t as savvy would think “Oh, cool” and not know the risks. I would say I’m happy that the ad was taken down, because a) I’m glad that some poor sap who doesn’t know better won’t lose his investment when the feds pull up and take it away to the crusher, and b) I’m glad that BaT has the morals I’d hope they would to not be involved in a sale with so many questions.

I won’t be happy the car gets crushed, but I am happy that BaT won’t be involved and another sucker won’t get stuck holding the bag.

It was being advertised as legal to the general public which includes a massive amount of people that don't understand due diligence. Therefore someone could have excitedly bought a car only to find out it cannot be registered and could potentially be seized. Imagine being in those shoes.
